Materialise is headed to the Windy City next week to showcase its latest innovations in software and 3D printing solutions for the orthopedic industry. The company will be attending the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting (March 22-26) in Chicago and exhibiting the latest developments from its research and engineering medical software MIS (minimally invasive surgery) and shoulder 3D planning for surgeons. Highlights at AAOS Presentation: March 25 – 8:05 a.m. (CST) 3D preoperative planning for the glenoid component in RSA by Dr. Jonathan C. Levy, chief of Orthopedics at Holy Cross Medical Group. In his presentation, Dr. Levy will demonstrate how an AI-driven Materialise planning tool is capable of mimicking planning habits of high-volume surgeons to guide the planning choices of broader range of clinicians.
